I’m sure you’ve heard it all before but those were the best damn sausages ever!!!. I picked up a few sausages on the weekend and at first thought they were expensive, but once I got them home and cooked them and saw that they don’t shrink – they were worth every penny and I want more. J. James.
I met Deneise, tasted some samples (Bombay Curry & Saskatoon Berry & Wild Mushroom), and then made a purchase of both these plus a Chorizo last Saturday. I served your sausages to a very fussy teenager, a regular kid, and five adults, one of whom considers himself a real sausage lover. My goodness – everyone seemed to love them as much as I did – even the very fussy teenager. I have since enjoyed reading your information sheet and flavour list and I just felt I had to send you a note to congratulate you both on your skills and especially that you are having fun! Thanks very much. Beth H.
I just went to my neighbour’s for supper and ate one of your sausages. It was fabulous! Can I place an order? Jamie R.
I wanted to thank you both for your dedicated efforts to delivering such a tasty and healthy product. All who have sampled your fare in my domain compliment “my” fine cuisine. I trust you’ll understand if I take most of the credit even if I know that it’s what’s inside that counts! Always a pleasure dropping by to talk to my fave vendors at the market. Peter W.
I am a farmer’s market junkie and this is one place I HAVE to go EVERY time I come to the market. These are amazing, BIG BIG BIG chicken sausages that come in every flavour you could imagine. Personal favourites of mine include “Pearway to Heaven” “Butter Chicken” and “Louisiana Beer” although I am slowly but surely making my way through their extensive menu and am discovering they all rock. When I say these are big sausages I really have to say, heed my warning! It is nine dollars for a pack of two, which sounds expensive but it is not. Just see these babies and you will soon understand why they are $9 for two. MASSIVE. Also they are chicken sausage so they are very lean and not greasy at all, which is the nasty trait a lot of pork sausages tend to have. If you come here enough too, they will give you a “sausage lovers” card, and you can get FREE sausages. No, I am not ashamed of having a frequent buyer card for a sausage shop and you shouldn’t be either! Stop on by the Calgary Farmer’s Market and go to Missing Link – you will not regret it! Thanks for making such an awesome product, I truly can’t get enough!! See you at the market on the weekend! Kaeleigh E.
Let me reiterate how great these sausages are: they’re great. I can be pretty picky about my meat but these are not at all greasy, and they’re HUGE. I want to try every flavour. I really love Louisiana Beer, and the Pearway to Heaven. Honestly though I’ve yet to try one that I don’t like. We try to limit ourselves to one pack a week (that’s two sausages, which usually makes us each lunch and dinner….they’re big)! Absolutely worth the price, I promise. Go try them and then come back and thank me. Also worth noting, the people running it are super friendly. Very awesome folks who make delicious food, what more could you ask for?! Emma G.
I travel monthly from Edmonton to the Calgary Farmers’ Market for pies and macaroons. I stopped by your stand this weekend and picked up some sausage and will now add you to my regular stops. So far I’ve tried the Chilli Lime and the Cajun and I suspect I will make it through every flavour you have. When we entertain we often make Kebobs with some Fig Spread and Balsamic Vinegar lightly heated in a frying pan, and added at the last few minutes on the BBQ for a perfect glaze. (I know that fig and balsamic vinegar sounds like a ridiculous spread but trust me, it’s incredible). I have rarely entertained my friends with chicken but your sausages are incredible; so many flavours to try and something for everyone. I wanted to commend you on an excellent product and although at first I bought them as a change/substitute for the non beef eaters I will now proudly serve them as a first choice. I will gladly recommend your sausages to everyone who tries them. Please keep up the excellent work. Patrick O.
Hello. We purchased some of your sausage yesterday, and I just wanted to drop you a note and tell you how delicious it was and how much we enjoyed it. We had the Honey Garlic and my 6 year old daughter devoured it. Even my picky 3 year old had a few pieces. We will definitely be back to pick up some more and are looking to trying all your flavours! Michelle W.
I miss you!!! I went to 2 farmers markets today in the hope that I would find you. Please let me know where you are now located. Nobody else does it like you do
Jean H.
We are coordinating orders from our friends and family, and already have four people saying an absolute yes and are quite excited to fill their freezers with your delicious sausages. We are glad for you and your success. Everyone has thoroughly enjoyed the sausages. Stephanie W.
Love the sausages – great quick, frozen but fresh tasting meal. Barb C.
I LOVE your sausages. I recently made two kinds of risotto with them and both were outstanding. I especially like that they’re so lean, which makes up for all the cheese I like to use in my risottos!
Anyhow, I would love to get more. I bought a few packages from Deneise at the Canmore Christmas Fair at our high school here in Canmore but don’t know where I can get more. Can I purchase them anywhere in Cochrane or North West Calgary? I look forward to enjoying more in the future and would appreciate your advice. With thanks and best regards, A happy customer, Sue R.
We tried your sausages when you were at the Westerner in Red Deer last year. And MAN are they GOOD!!! Sarah R.
Just thought I’d take a minute to let you know that the Cabbage Roll Reversal sausages I bought this past weekend were absolutely delicious. I’ll be back to try all your other flavours starting next weekend! Awesome to see a locally owned business do well, too. Already a big fan, Sue M.
These sausages are amazing! I couldn’t stop sampling them before dinner was served. Heather B.
My story begins as a vegetarian – for the first 19 or so years of my life. When I moved out on my own I started trying different things like chicken and turkey, but kept it pretty “safe.” Within the last year I’ve branched out into the realm of sausage. Sticking mostly to chicken and the odd pork, I would only eat the ones from the more specialty markets (dare I name, Sunterra). Whilst not bad – not amazing. Then one day my friend and I went to the Calgary Farmer’s Market and she insisted that we stop by your booth. She encouraged me to buy some sausages and I agreed with apprehension after being overwhelmed by such names as “Tequila Mockingbird” and “Jamaican Me Crazy”….. Upon returning home I cooked the sausages on the bbq for dinner with a sense of trepidation, but also intrigue. From first bite on, needless to say it was love at first taste. I can honestly say I have never in my life tasted a sausage that incredibly delicious. I devoured the whole thing, only to then look longingly at my boyfriend who was eating the second one – well look longingly at the sausage that is. Ever since, I’ve been hooked. I have yet to try them all but look forward to the challenge. I just wanted to let you know how amazing your sausages are and to thank you for making such a quality product to make anyone, even a sceptic like me, into a sausage lover. Converted Veggie, Erica R.
Great recommendation on the Cabbage Roll sausage. It was delish. I can hardly wait to try more. I think the Butter Chicken is next. Jan H.
I have just recently found out that I can’t have gluten and I was going to be soooooo disappointed if I had to give up my favorite sausages… Thanks for the good news (regarding the vast majority which are gluten-free). Lynda B.
